Betty Mae Collins (Fulford), she came to us January Eleventh, 1932, in a log cabin in old Fairfield Ohio. A few years later the family bought a house from the Sears- Roebuck Catalog and had it erected on South Central Avenue, a new section of Fairfield Ohio at that time. Her birth family grew to include father (Paul), mother (Grace), five sisters Mickey, Pauline, Shirley, Jean and Beverly. This was a full, happy four room home. Betty grew up during the great depression and World War ll to become a gentle and loving person to all who knew her. She loved Jesus and would pray for you when she sensed a need, or asked. Betty married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Collins upon his return from World War ll, they had three children Robert Jr. (Shirley), Joseph (Cathy), and Brenda (Steve). She loved God, her family and had a rich full life. No one ever entered the home on Harvard Avenue that went away hungry or dissatisfied. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Joe), and five sisters (Mickey, Pauline, Shirley, Jean, and Beverly). If lately you perceive the world to be darker and more bleak it is because God has called one of the lights to come home.
