Emily Renee Puryear, 24, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with the Rev. Carlis Roland officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Partnership to End Addiction, www.drugfree.org. Emily was born in Macon, Georgia to Robert Edward Puryear, Sr. and Margaret Renee Scott Puryear. She was a graduate of the class of 2015 from Tattnall Square Academy and she attended Middle Georgia State College. Emily loved music, playing the guitar, golf and she was very artistic. She had a beautiful spirit and uncanny knack for making lasting friendships.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Renee Puryear of Macon, brother, Robert Edward “Eddie” Puryear, (fiancé, Courtney) of Macon, sister, Laura Puryear Ware of Cumming, nieces; Riley and ReAnne Ware, aunts, Cindy (Scott) McDonald and Peggy Puryear, uncles, Chris Scott, Chanse (Kim) Scott, John Puryear, cousins, Elijah McDonald, Connor and Danny Scott, Hank (Keri) Puryear, and David Puryear.
