Nancy Diane Cooper, age 72 of Arlington, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1948 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas Ivan Powers, Jr. and Del Ragland Powers. Nancy married James David Cooper and they celebrated 28 years of marriage together.
Nancy loved spending time outdoors, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed bird watching. She loved all animals, but especially those cats and dogs that were a part of her family. She was crafty and had an eye for interior designing, but also loved to collect antiques, especially dolls. Friends will remember Nancy as a classy and gracious lady who loved her family dearly. She had a great sense of humor and a warm smile that will be missed.
Nancy is survived by her husband James David; son Kyle McPherson and fiancée Lindsay Michaelis, daughter Cassie Frazer and husband Scott, and stepson Matt Bryant and wife Gray; grandchildren Makenna McPherson, Abby Frazer, and Dory Bryant; sister C.J. Witten and husband Alan; and her mother, Del Rockenbaugh.
