Patricia Harrington Crumlish, born December 20, 1938 in Galveston, Texas, to Dr. Francis and Maribeth Harrington, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 31, 2020. Patricia was loved and cherished by her friends and family. She was passionate about life and loved deeply. Patricia had a way of drawing people to her. She was a dedicated Catholic. Prayers were answered when Patricia prayed for you. She provided her children with an excellent example of hard work and dedication. If there was an award for “Best Mom and Grandmama,” she would get First Place. Her faith and family were of the utmost importance to her. She was gracious, kind and generous to a fault. Patricia treated everyone who came into her home like family. She loved everyone regardless of their faults.
Patricia attended traditional Catholic School. She graduated high school from Ursuline Academy of Dallas. She attended St. Paul Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She was the past president of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. In 1996 Patricia earned a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas. She served as a Stephen Minister while living in Colorado Springs, where she retired. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Tim Harrington, Maura Harrington, and Michael Harrington. She is survived by daughter Rebecca and her husband Paul von Boeck, son Donovan Crumlish, daughter Maribeth Crumlish Kynor and her husband Jim Kynor, grandchildren Trevor von Boeck, Kiah von Boeck, Isabel Jackson, and Lucas Crumlish Kynor, honorary daughter Julie Robichaux, dear friends Eileen Gatke and Evonne von Boeck, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
A funeral service in memory of Patricia Harrington Crumlish will be held on January 23, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, located at 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918. The Rosary will be at 12:15pm. The Mass will be held at 1:00pm.
A memorial celebration of life will be held in Dallas, Texas in the Spring of 2021, where she will be laid to rest in the family plot alongside her parents and brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Ursuline Academy of Dallas (www.ursulinedallas.org) in memory of Patricia Harrington Crumlish.
