She was raised & baptized in the Baptist church, but later revealed she had also been baptized in the Methodist church. As she got older, if she was asked, she would say she was a Methodist.

Survived by her sons Robert Hawkins (wife Lynetta), Harrison Logsdon (wife Brenda), daughter Dorothy Logsdon Ussery, Granddaughters, Robin Ussery Hampton, Whitney Ussery Nowlin, Grandsons, Lonnie Hawkins, Michael (Shawn) Hawkins, Michael (Jeremy)Logsdon, Jason Logsdon. Great-Granddaughters, Jessica Wallace Threet, Sarah Nowlin, Holli Hawkins Pierce, Morgan Hawkins Jerry, Maddie Hawkins, Bethany Wallace, Gracie Nowlin, Tori Hawkins Matthews, Great Grandsons Arien Hawkins and Jacob Nowlin, great-great grandchildren, Tenley, Kalli, Leighton & Charley.
Lucy was retired from Retail Clerks association, as retail clerk union representative & checker for both Safeway & Kroger. She enjoyed her customers both at Safeway & Kroger where they often waited in line for her to check them out, no matter how long they had to wait. She later opened Lucy’s Smoke Shop located in North Little Rock, where she again enjoyed the love & respect of her customers.
Her favorite hobbies were traveling, going to the Casino’s and playing different card games with her family. She was a collector of hummingbird figurines.
Family was her biggest love and joy and she enjoyed being surrounded by each one of them.
