Florentino "Tino" R. Rebollar, 55, of Humble, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021. Tino was born in Mexico on August 21, 1965 to parents Anastacia Mojica Rodriguez and Felix Rebollar. Tino came to the United States of America to live the American dream. With hard work and determination, he was able to fulfill that dream. He knew that in order to get the most out of life, you had to work hard and stay focused. He married the love of his life, Jennifer Rocha, on February 14, 2000 and together they had two beautiful daughters. Tino’s strong work ethic and values allowed him and Jennifer to purchase their first home for their family. Not only was Tino a family man, but a man of God. Tino was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
Tino worked as a CDL Operator for over 15 years. He played on a semi-pro futbol league in Mexico and when he moved to the states he continued to play here as well. His passions included spending quality time with his family. He enjoyed caring for his home, being outdoors and gardening. He loved barbequing and watching futbol. Tino enjoyed singing karaoke and working on his truck “Verde”. He also found joy in spending time with friends. Tino was always the life of the party; he was delighted to see others laugh. His smile was heartwarming as bright as the sun. All who knew him will miss Tino dearly.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Dymond Alicia Rebollar and father, Felix Rebollar.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jennifer Rocha; daughter, Dymond Jennifer Rebollar; mother, Anastacia Mojica Rodriguez; sisters, Irma, Elvia, Rosa; brothers, Robertino, Lorenzo, Javier, Felix and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited promptly at 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
The Rocha Rebollar family wishes to express sincere appreciation for every act of kindness and each expressions of love that warmed our broken hearts. We know that the days and especially the family gatherings and holidays to come will be very lonely without Tino. Yet, your prayers will help us through this difficult period. We would like to extend a special thanks to our comadre Esmeralda Zepeda, his in-laws and family for their demonstrations of love during this time. Tino nació en México el 21 de agosto de 1965 de padres Anastacia Mojica Rodríguez y Felix Rebollar. Tino vino a los Estados Unidos para vivir el sueño americano. Con trabajo duro y determinación, pudo cumplir ese sueño. Sabía que para aprovechar al máximo la vida, tenía que trabajar duro y mantenerse concentrado. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Jennifer Rocha, el 14 de febrero del 2000 y juntos tuvieron dos hijas hermosas. La sólida ética de trabajo y los valores de Tino le permitieron a él y su esposa Jennifer comprar su primera casa para su familia. Tino no solo era un hombre de familia, sino un hombre de Dios. Tino era un católico devoto y miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Mary Magdalene.
Tino trabajó como operador de CDL durante más de 15 años. Jugó en una liga de fútbol semiprofesional en México y cuando se mudó a los Estados Unidos continuó jugando aquí también. Sus pasiones incluían pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia. Disfrutaba cuidar a su casa, estar al aire libre y hacer jardinería. Le encantaba cocinar en la parrilla y ver fútbol en la televisión. Tino disfrutó cantar al karaoke y trabar en su camioneta “Verde”. También encontraba alegría al pasar tiempo con amigos. Tino siempre fue el alma de la fiesta; estaba encantado de ver reír a todos. Su sonrisa era reconfortante tan brillante como el sol. Todos los que lo conocieron extrañarán mucho a Tino.
Le anteceden en la muerte su hija Dymond Alicia Rebollar y padre Felix Rebollar.
Quedan para apreciar su memoria, esposa, Jennifer Rocha; hija, Dymond Jennifer Rebollar; mama, Anastacia Mojica Rodríguez; hermanas, Irma, Elvia, Rosa; hermanos, Robertino, Lorenzo, Javier, Felix y muchos otros familiares y amigos también sobreviven.
La familia recibirá amigos para una visita el viernes 15 de enero de 2021 a partir de las 6:00 p.m. hasta las 8:00 p.m. con un rosario que se recitará puntualmente a las 7:00 p.m. en Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. El funeral tendrá lugar el sábado 15 de enero de 2021 a las 10:30 a.m. siguiendo con el entierro en Brookside Memorial Park.
La familia Rocha Rebollar desea expresar su sincero agradecimiento por cada acto de bondad y cada expresión de amor que conmovió nuestros corazones rotos.
