William (Bill) passed away on Friday, January 8th, at the age of 80, and leaves behind an ex-wife and friend, two sons, and many close family and friends. He was a devoted Texas Aggie, army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a certified counselor who worked for many years helping those struggling with addiction. Bill loved Scouting and was an Eagle Scout, Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, camp ranger for Camp Preston Hunt, worked as a professional Scout for five years, and served on the staff of Camp Pioneer both in his youth and again after he retired. He was also an avid arrowhead collector and spent many hours walking the fields, lakes, and creeks of Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana looking for rare and interesting arrowheads.
