She was born on January 6, 1937 in Kennett, Missouri. She was married to Robert Lamar Durham for over 60 years, making their homes in West Memphis, Memphis, and Olive Branch. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing and interior design. She devoted her life to your family and friends, including caring and providing for her grandchildren. She faithfully attended Gracewood Baptist Church and participated in many activities with her Sunday School class.
After retirement, she cherished being able to participate in the activities of her grandchildren. And most recently loved being Nana, to her two great-grandsons!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Florence Ridings and her sister, Fonda Stark, and her beloved son, Mark Durham, and her brother, Dewayne Ridings. She is survived by her grandsons, Hunter (Sarah) Durham of Byhalia, Cody Rial of Memphis, granddaughter, Morgan (Brandon) Eskew of Cordova, great grandsons, Braxton and Hudson Durham; sister, Helen Lomax of Jonesboro; daughter in law, Donna Durham of Southaven.
Visitation will be at Gracewood Baptist Church, Southaven, on Monday evening, January 11, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. Services to celebrate her life will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Gracewood Baptist Church, Southaven, Mississippi, followed by burial at Memorial Park South Woods, Memphis, Tennessee.
