She grew up in Manchester, and attended Central High School. She worked in shipping and receiving for Raytheon for 25 years.
She was a dedicated member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She volunteered for many years at the Glendi at Saint George Cathedral. She loved gardening, spending time with family. She cherished her time spent with family, friends, and respected colleagues & clients.
She is survived by her sister Ellen Goupil; son Arthur Ahlquist; daughter Karen, husband David and son Nicholas Root; several grandchildren and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Alfred and her son Michael Ahlquist.
A visitation will be held at 10:00AM on January 14, 2021 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, on 650 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Service will follow at 11:00AM, with burial immediately following at Pine Grove Cemetery located on 765 Brown Avenue in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society and mailed to 2 Commerce Drive, suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110.
