George Roger Townsley

Born April 17, 1948 in Hinton, West Virginia, the son of James Townsley and Roxy Jane Bennett - Townsley. George served his nation with pride in the United States Navy aboard a submarine. He was also a retired Auto Worker.

George is preceded in death by his parents, James Townsley and Roxy Jane Bennett - Townsley; his brother, Gene Christian; and great - granddaughter, Lakyn James McNiff.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jill Townsley; his children, Sandy Bramer and Brian Townsley; his grandchildren, Corey Bramer, Devan (Nick) McNiff, Brian Bramer, Bryce Bramer, Cole Townsley, Jesse (Tori) Sharp, Dillen Sizemore, Julee Sharp and Braxton Litchfield; great - grandchildren, Emilia Bramer and Casen McNiff; siblings, Paul Townsley and Anna Rose Pack; several nieces and nephews and a host a relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Per Georges' wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services at this time.

In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
