She was born in Lynchburg, on May 10, 1947, daughter of the late Jesse Ferguson and the late Lula Ferguson.
Lois was a self-employed caretaker. She enjoyed word puzzles and walking. Lois was a big George Michael fan and loved her 707.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Sharp and a brother, Carol Ferguson.
Survivors include 4 children, Teresa Gallier (Gary), Crystal Evans (Red), Angie Lawhorne (Vernon) and
Donni Jo Nicely (Kevin); a sister, Inez Carter and a brother, Clark Ferguson (Beebee). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her fur baby Tootie Boots.
An open time for the paying of respects will be held from 9-5 on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Liberty Cemetery in Appomattox.
