Ken was raised & married in SK. and retired from the CNR after 35 years of service, most of which time he and his family lived in MB.. He was an avid sportsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, curling and biking. He was also a lifetime member of The Elks Lodge and served as an Exalted Ruler for a term. As well as watching hockey and football, he was still, at the age of 92, riding his bicycle around Mundson Pond & area.
Ken was a kind, gentle man who always made people feel comfortable and he loved to joke around. Many new friends were made playing cards, as well as camping, after he & Esther retired to Kelowna.
Dad loved his family and playing with his grandchildren, of which they have many fond memories.
Ken was pre-deceased by his grandson, Trevor, and daughter-in-law, Jann.
He is survived by his loving wife, Esther, of 71 years, sons, Rodger, Gary (Andrea), & daughter Cheryl (Marty), 5 grandchildren, & 3 great granddaughters. He will truly be missed.
