Dorothy Ladene Denwalt

Dorothy Denwalt, aged 86, passed away in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 with her family by her side. Dorothy was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. Later after High School, she moved to Duncan, Oklahoma where she owned and worked at Sleepy’s Donut Shop for more than 20 years. Upon returning to Oklahoma City, she worked as a cake decorator at Albertsons for over 40 years. During retirement she continued her passion for baking and cake decorating for private events and weddings. Among other hobbies, some of her favorites were working in her garden, sewing, cooking and spending time with loved ones.

Dorothy was the most caring and loving nana, gramma and mother anyone could ask for. She always had a sweet smile on her face, she loved to love and welcomed all with open arms. She has left her mark with everyone she encountered, and the memories made will never be forgotten. She will be missed dearly.

Dorothy is survived by Daughter and son in-law, Gayle and Danny Spence; Brother and Sister in-law, Clifford and Pat East; Brother and Sister in-law, Bobby and Geneva East; Daughter in-law, Dow Rogers; Grandson, Chris Spence; Granddaughter Tina Seaborn and Husband Brad; Granddaughter, Shawna Wiley; Grandson TK Rogers and wife Jessica; Granddaughter Theresa SanNicolas and husband Joe; Great Grandson, Cole Seaborn; Great Granddaughter, Casie Seaborn; Great Granddaughter, Melody Wiley; Great Grandson, Aidan Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. She was Preceded in death by Mother, Viola East; Sons, Terry Rogers and Michael Rogers, their father, Jimmy Rogers; Brother, Billy East; Granddaughter, Darlene Brooks; Great Granddaughter, Mackenzie Seaborn; and other numerous loved ones.
