

Megan Renee Lindstrom Tolson Graver, 43, passed away after a prolonged illness on August 7, 2025. Megan was born January 27, 1982, on Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, LA, and moved to Virginia Beach, VA, in July, 1982. She attended and was baptized at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd where she sang in the Children's Choir and was the first to portray Sancta Lucia in the Christmas Pageant, 1994.
Megan was a star player on the Lightning Ladies, a slow pitch, girls' pre-teen softball team for the Kempsville Recreation Association (KRA), playing in the Spring League and the Girls' Fall Softball League (GFSL). She danced and performed at Bobbi and Helen's School of Dance, Kempsville, 1991-1995. Megan attended Arrowhead Elementary School. She attended Larkspur Middle School where she ran track. She graduated from Tallwood High School in 2002. Megan worked various jobs including Fuddruckers, Applebee's, Chanello's, 5150 Eatery and Saloon, Rick's Cafe, Wild Wild West Old Time Photo and most recently, 19 years at Clark-Whitehill Enterprise from June, 2002, until September, 2021.
She was predeceased by a brother, H."Eddie" Lindstrom III.
Megan is survived by Justin Graver, her husband since July, 2016, and his daughter Trinity Dowdy; daughter Ally Tolson; son Shane Tolson; mother Sandy Lindstrom; father Dink Lindstrom; brother Robert Lindstrom and brother Eric Lindstrom (Melissa). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Peyton Lindstrom, Jenna Lindstrom, Triston Lindstrom, Ethan Lindstrom, Aubree Lindstrom, Gavin Lindstrom and Izzy Lindstrom; Aunt Lynn Rea, her son Nathan Rea and his son Colt Rea; cousin Katelynn Teixeira (Felipe) and their children Chloe and Austin of Guyton, GA; Uncle David Lindstrom (Sharon) of Lutherville, Timonium, MD; Uncle Dave Steeg of Chapel Hill, NC; cousin Jody Wray (Hunter) and their son Clay; cousin Greg Lindstrom (Kara) and their children Mirra and Josh of York, PA; former husband John Tolson of Suffolk, VA, and lots and lots of loving family and good friends.
She will be cremated. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville, is handling arrangements.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Windsor Lake Apartments Clubhouse, 3955 Marina Lake Rd., Virginia Beach, on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 4-6 PM.
We can see you now, precious Megan, dancing or playing softball with the angels. Please keep watch over us and know that we're comforted by the fact that we'll all be together again someday.
