

Wadsworth Glenn in Middletown. He was the beloved husband of Florence (Desrochers) Davis.
Born in Bath,ME on May 25,1919,he was the son of the late Leon A. and Ruby (Frye) Davis.He served in the US Army during WWII and was in the Second wave of troops at Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was a retired employee of Anaconda American Brass in Waterbury. He enjoyed playing cards and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Adele Santangelo of Durham and was predeceased by a daughter Stella Post. He was also known as "Pepere" by his five grandchildren, Deborah Stevens and her husband John, John Post, Anthony Santangelo, and his wife Jamie, Dawn Catarino and her husband Arminio, Bryan Santangelo and his wife Jen, and thirteen great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by brothers Donald and Richard Davis and a sister Edythe Atwood.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott followed by burial with military honors will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM.
