Debbie was born in Kinston, North Carolina on May 26th, 1958 to Mary Alice Smith and Harold Tyndall. She was a proud graduate of East Carolina University. Debbie later moved to Maryland while working for Piedmont Airlines. In 1990, she welcomed her first son, Colin, and embraced the role of full time mother. They later moved to Tampa where her family was completed with the birth of her second son, David, in 1994.
Debbie was a brilliant, inquisitive, kind, nurturing, caring and compassionate person. Debbie loved traveling, interior decorating, painting, participating in garden club, volunteering at Memorial Hospital, and enjoying time with her family and friends.
Debbie’s memory will be forever honored by her devoted sons Colin Yienger and David Yienger, her loving mother Mary Alice Gilbert, as well as her extended family and many dear friends. She leaves behind a legacy of selfless love, quiet strength, and unwavering support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 15th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Blount and Curry on MacDill. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Moffit Cancer Center for Lung Cancer Research.
