Brenda Campbell, 68, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2024. She was born in Fayette, Mississippi, on August 22, 1955, to Sylvia and Floyd Wood, Jr. She was married to Samuel Campbell, Jr. for seven years.
Brenda was a woman of many talents. Her most recent role was as a security guard for Kaneka. Her dedication and firmness were well-known, especially among the truckers she kept in line.
Brenda loved her music. You know she would listen to music 25/8 if she could. She also enjoyed flower arranging, organizing everything, and, of course talking. She was blessed with the gift of gab and never met a stranger.
Brenda is welcomed home by her parents, her brother Carl Wood, her ex-husband Samuel Campbell, Jr., and many other family members. Brenda's memory will be cherished by her loving children, Tiffany S. Campbell and Tanya Godbold (Marcus), and her adoring grandchildren, Jerani & T'miah Campbell-Stokes, and Tamrynn & Miles Godbold. Her great-grandson, William Ochoa, will also hold her memory dear. She is survived by her siblings Gloria Young (John), Patrick Wood, Jennifer F. Wood, and Tammy Wood, and her nephews Dominic, Nikolas, and John Young. Her memory will also be treasured by numerous cousins and other devoted family and friends.
Isiah 25:8 - "He will swallow up death forever. Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces."
