She was born and lived in Lynn, Massachusetts most of her life, the only daughter of the late Roy F. Anderson, Sr. and Nita D. (O’Blenes) Anderson.
Jane worked as a houseworker with the Lynn School Dept. at Ingalls Elementary and
Lynn Vocational Technical Institute.
Jane’s greatest passion was to sing and entertain, beginning with Sweet Adelines. After marrying the love of her life, the late Robert Aylwin, she ventured into hosting Karaoke at many establishments throughout Lynn and surrounding areas. One of her greatest joys was singing on stage at the Grand ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jane was a strong woman and family was so very important to her. She enjoyed road trips with her husband, taking chances at the local game rooms and going on a cruise whenever she had the chance. She also treasured the time she spent going out to eat and singing karaoke with her friends down in Brooksville, Florida.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Peter W. Thomas, her second husband Robert J. Aylwin, four brothers, Frank Williams, Roy Anderson, Neil Anderson, and William Anderson as well as her great granddaughter Lexy Jane Connole. She leaves behind her brother, Donald Anderson and her loving children from a blended family, her daughters, Cynthia Cushing and Philip Harmon, Laurie and Michael Anderson and her son, Robert and Dianne Thomas. On her late husband’s side of the family, she leaves behind, Wynona and Brian Lovieno, Steven and Allison Aylwin, Rob and Zafia Aylwin, and Jamie Aylwin. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Remembrance gathering will begin Saturday, July 31st from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, followed by a service at 10:00 and burial of her ashes at Pine Grove Cemetery.
