Yoshanda, known to most as “Yo,” has been a licensed funeral director for 19 years. She is a native of Hammond, Indiana, and a 1995 graduate of Hammond High School. Yoshanda received her associate degree in mortuary science from Vincennes University in 1999 and her bachelor's degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Indiana Select Funeral Directors Association.
Yo says her career mission is to encourage, engage and influence with positive leadership and provide continued support and guidance to the families she serves at Crown Hill Funeral Home.
Yoshanda lives in Fishers, Indiana, with her husband. She has two sons and enjoys spending time with her boys, supporting their endeavors, and going on family vacations. She is a member of Mount Paran Baptist Church.
Levi James Elliott
A licensed funeral director and embalmer in Indiana and North Carolina, Levi currently serves as our assistant manager. He is a native of Plymouth, Indiana, where he first became interested in funeral service. Levi received his associate degree in mortuary science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, where he pledged Pi Sigma Eta academic fraternity.
Levi began serving at age 15, working all facets of funeral service; from landscaping to assisting families and funeral directors. During this time, he came to believe it is attention to the smallest details that makes the biggest impact when celebrating a life. Levi's goal is to help as many families as possible while exceeding current industry standards and expectations.
Levi is an active part in his church and community, knowing the best way to make a difference and better yourself is through serving others. Currently residing in Eagle Creek with his wife, Levi enjoys traveling, experiencing new things, outdoor activities and time with family and friends.
Erin M Hinton
Erin is an Ivy Tech Mortuary graduate in her second career. She continues her education by attending restorative art classes and advanced embalming technique seminars whenever she can. Erin feels fortunate to be following this path and enjoys bringing peace to the families she serves. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for 27 years and is a military wife with a college-age daughter. When she is not working, Erin enjoys live music at any venue.
Dominique Raspberry Battles
Dominique is a native of Gary, Indiana, and has lived in Indianapolis since 1996. A licensed funeral certified crematory operator, she is also the forensic autopsy supervisor and a certified medical death investigator with the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
Dominique received her mortuary science degree from Vincennes University and her bachelor’s in business management from Indiana Wesleyan. She is now an instructor for IUPUI’s pathology master’s program and the Indiana Chaplaincy Training Institute.
William is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Indiana and Ohio. A native of Anderson, Indiana, he graduated in 2003 from Anderson High School, in 2005 from Vincennes University School of Funeral Service and Embalming, and in 2009 from Indiana Wesleyan University with a business degree. He is also an Indiana licensed insurance agent, certified funeral celebrant and notary public.
William is also a police officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, where he works the southwest and downtown districts. He and his family attend Second Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies include golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
