    Kevin Lee Wood


    Kevin Wood has been a funeral director since 1985 following his graduation from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Oklahoma. Kevin assisted the medical examiner's office during the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 and is a member of Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team for Region VIII. He served on the Colorado Funeral Service Board from 2010 to 2016 and was chairperson in 2011 to 2012. Kevin is a certified mortuary science practitioner with the Colorado Funeral Service Board and a certified funeral service practitioner with the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Kevin came to Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery as the location manager in December 2015 and he feels honored to celebrate each life with dignity, honor and respect. Kevin has been married since 1998 and has three children. He enjoys coaching baseball, playing softball and traveling.

    Sara has been a funeral director at Olinger Highland Mortuary since July 2015. Originally from South Dakota, she moved to Colorado in 2010 to pursue her education and graduated from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton in 2014 with an Associate of Applied Science in mortuary science. Sara is board certified with the American Board of Funeral Service Education and has served grieving families in the north Denver metro area with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

    Phyllis Jean Medina

    Funeral Director

    Phyllis Medina has been in the funeral industry since 2002 and graduated from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, with a degree in mortuary science. It is her honor and privilege to serve families as a funeral director with the utmost respect and dignity during one of the hardest times of their lives. Having personal experience dealing with devastating loss, Phyllis is empathetic to the families she serves and can offer relevant guidance. Funeral directing is more than a job for Phyllis—it is an opportunity to help others in ways that are meaningful and ongoing. For the last several years, Phyllis has volunteered in a local elementary school providing meals for the staff during parent/teacher conferences and other late night functions.

    Jehnai Marshall Jackson

    With more than 25 years of funeral service experience, Jehn-ai Jackson sees assisting families during their time of need as a calling. A graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, Jehn-ai holds a certification as a funeral director and embalming technician in the State of Colorado. She is an active member of various professional organizations including The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards; National Funeral Directors Association; National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc.; and the Colorado Funeral Directors Association, of which she is a past president. In her free time, Jehn-ai enjoys traveling, visiting local cemeteries and funeral homes while away on her trips, and spending time with family.
