

John McGee was born December 21, 1975 in Cocoa Beach, Florida to Timothy McGee and Siroon Pug Noi McGee of Thailand. He graduated from Ames High School in 1996. He was a talented artist in ink drawing and painting. He was an expert in sound and music computer applications, and associated hardware. He was universally liked and internationally known for his creative music composition. He loved his family and friends. He was very generous with his time and equipment.
John is survived by a son, Justice McGee of Jewel; foster parents, Bob and Cathy Garnet, West Valley City Utah; father, Timothy McGee, of Arkansas; mother, Siroon Pug Noi Bishop from Thailand; sister, Tina Louise (Patrick) Schmalzried; grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy McGee, of Ames, and Avis Morse, of Forsythe, Missouri; aunt, Evelyn (Victor) DeLiso, of Corning, New York; uncles, James (Anne) McGee, of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and Matt (Sylvia) McGee, of Ames; and cousins, Marco, Max, Jacob, Magdalene, Dasha, and Nikita and step cousins: Doug and Jana.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara McGee.
