Audrey Ruth Book

She was born on February 8, 1935 to Ruth and Harold Scott. Audrey was raised in Little Falls, NJ. She shared 72 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Edward Book, who preceded her in death in July 2025. Together, they built a home filled with love, stability, and cherished memories.

Audrey loved her family deeply and was actively involved in their lives. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and delighted in laughter, and fun. Audrey had the gift of hospitality and serving others.

Audrey faithfully served her family and church. She was an active member and secretary at Brookdale Baptist Church, Bloomfield, NJ until retiring with her husband to Apex, NC in 2004 where she was a member of the Shepherd's Church in Cary, NC.

Audrey is survived by her three children, Edward A. Book Jr., Ruth Anne Johnson, Deborah Lynn Pine, brother, Harold Scott, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She leaves a legacy of love for the Lord, devoted marriage, and love for family.

A private service will be held with family.
