Bernadette Marie Lantz

Bernadette was born on July 6, 1962, in Washington DC to the late Richard Lee Lantz and Laura Lee Keener Lantz. Bernadette graduated from West Virginia University in finance and worked as a technology Project Manager and Consultant. She loved to travel, cook, sew, volunteer, and go on adventures. An intelligent, funny, interesting, spirited, caring, and curious person, Bernadette was a true woman of substance.

She is most lovingly remembered by her daughter Anna Lantz. With an unending amount of love, she will be forever missed by her brothers and their spouses John and Lynda Lantz of North Carolina, Daniel and Sarah Lantz of Minnesota, and Joseph and Sarah Lantz of Illinois. She is also ardently remembered by her nieces and nephews Morgan, Liza, Jacob, Lillian, Olivia, Noah, and Liam, and her honorary grandchildren Eliana and Finley.

A memorial service in honor of Bernadette’s life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home. Following the service there will be a gathering of family and friends at Daniel’s Restaurant in Apex, N.C.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to Transitions Life Care and Hospice in Raleigh, N.C.
