Dear Sherron, Steve, Beth, and families--I can't think of Uncle Bill without the memory of his good nature, his wit and his exploits bringing a smile to my face. Underneath his fun-loving nature was also a heart of gold, and my mother, sister, brothers and I were recipients of his kindness many times through the years. It's with fondness and affection I’ll always remember his good humor, sense of adventure, eccentricity, and great big heart.  Wishing you peace and comfort.

Daddy, I will always be greatful to have had such a great Dad and wonderful man in my life.  Peace be with you.

Papa was the man who taught me a great number of things.  He waould always tell me "Do it right!" I have tried in everything I do.  It doesn't make it easier to know that I will see him again, but it makes it better.  With all my Heart I thank you for all your words and prayers. I am very thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing Billy.I know he will be missed greatly.Please know my thoughts and prayers are with the family.He was a man who could make you smile even if you didn't feel like it,his memory will be with me forever.

Just wanted to let all of Bill's family know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Bill was like some of the cars he drove to Grandaddy's and Mama Bowles' house, a classic. He always had a joke to tell or something to say to his nephews or neices to make them laugh. I thank God daily for the wonderful heritage we were blessed with as members of the Bowles family. The stories and memories I have from my grandparents, Marvin and Elsie Bowles and all my aunts (Mildred, Betty, Shirley, Katherine)  and uncles, (Flake, Paul, Zane, Ray, Bill and Hugh) will stay with me forever.

Billy Bowles was a great uncle.  He will be missed, but his memory will always bring a big smile to our faces.  He made us laugh and he was a decent kind man who never would hesitate to give you words of encouragement.  May God bless his entire family and may Bill's family remember how much Bill helped others look at the bright side of life.

I thank God for such a wonderful uncle.  Bill's now peacefully home at last, enveloped in total comfort, free from all pain and worries.  I look forward to flying with Bill again.
