Brenda May Stephens Feilke

Brenda was born May 21, 1948 in Wake County to the late Luther Hughie Stephens and Ervilla DeLina Maynard Stephens Murray. She attended Garner High School and was employed with Cooper Tools in Apex for over 32 years. Brenda was a member of Piney Plains Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Estelle Stephens Lynn Weaver.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Craig Feilke; sons, Lonnie Brooks, Jr. (Andrea) of Cary; Luther Brooks of Fuquay Varina; sisters, Mary Herrera (Andres) of Knightdale; and DeLina Bridgers (Jody) of Raleigh; grandsons, Weston Brooks of Cary; and Kaden Brooks of Fuquay Varina; brother-in-law, William Neil Feilke, Jr.; and sister-in-laws, Sue Orzel; Linda Feilke; all of Philadelphia, PA; and Denise Johnson of Willow Spring, NC; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and other extended family.

The family will receive friends 6-9 pm Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. A graveside service will be held 11am Friday, March 1, 2013 at Piney Plains Christian Church Cemetery, 2801 Piney Plains Road, Cary, NC 27518.
