

Christopher Andrew Furtick, 15, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday April 28, 2015. Born on August 2, 1999 at Rex Hospital; he was the loving son of Russell “Rusty” and Brenda Boone Furtick and younger brother of Joseph “Joe” Furtick.
Christopher attended Apex High School, was a member of Apex United Methodist Church, and played soccer with TFC 99 Select as a center defender. A good student and athlete, Chris will be remembered as witty, artistic, inventive, creative and loving. His smile lit up a room. He took the time to play with his cousins and always said “I Love You”. He was a wonderful and loving son, brother, grandson and cousin and he will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his parents and brother; by his grandparents: Joe and Janet Boone, of Lillington; Ronnie Furtick of Columbia, SC and Melinda Wolfe, of Angier; aunts and uncles: Sandra and Steve Wester, of Apex, Tammy and Dan Johnson, of Fuquay-Varina, Mandy and Jonathan Holder, of Fuquay-Varina, Bryan Furtick, of Duncan and Kevin and Rebecca Furtick, of Anderson, SC; numerous cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at Apex Funeral Home, with Funeral Services Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2 PM at Apex United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Lillington, NC with O’Quinn Peebles assisting.
