Donovan was born on October 7, 2000 in Durham, NC to his parents, Felix Marenya and Michelle McCallister. Donovan towered above everyone at 6 foot 4 inches but as skinny as a pole, and being that tall, he had a good foundation to keep upright, hence the 13 inch feet. Dononvan loved his family. He loved the watermelon eating contests, the homemade banana pudding, the softest of blankets, the Harry Potter marathons, being with his friends, music and most of all his hair. He had an amazing smile and even better laugh. He was a jokester at heart and could make anyone feel better with the biggest hug. Donovan was a very happy child who liked jokes and making people laugh. He cared a lot. He has always wanted to take care of people especially his immediate relatives.
He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Felix Marenya; mother, Michelle McCallister, step-father Ryan McCallister; grandparents, Jimmy and Jo Keith, Alphie Omondi, Harold Omondi, Monica Ennis; brothers Zander, Kaleb and Isaac and a sister Kyrie; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
