Dorothy was born November 8, 1933 in Wake County, NC to the late Heber Alvin Wilson and Louvenia Holland Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Louise Griffith and husband, Fred; grandchildren, Mike Griffith and wife, Brooke, Caleb Griffith and wife, Catherine, Sarah Bristow, Krystle Vanderbilt, Joshua Griffith and wife, Lori; great grandchildren, Braxton Griffith, Parker Griffith, Isabella Griffith, Gabriella Griffith, Amara McWhorter, Corrin Bristow, Edan Bristow, Rowan Bristow, Jaden Vanderbilt, Karina Vanderbilt, Gage Williams, Jacob Williams, Landon Griffith, Azalym Griffith, and Zerah Griffith.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at Martha’s Chapel, 2811 Marthas Chapel Road, Apex, NC 27523. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.
