Edward B. Morgan

Edward Burkman Morgan, Jr., 77, formerly of Monroe, NY, passed away on March 17, 2015 at Duke University Medical Center. Born on February 7, 1938 in Middletown, NY; he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Morgan.

Ed graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology and retired from Forbes Magazine as a Production Manager after 25 years.

He enjoyed fishing, tennis, baseball, golf and most of all playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Monroe, NY before moving to North Carolina and fellowshipping at Cary Church of God.

Ed is lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Elaine Harris Morgan; by his sons: Paul Morgan and wife Chrissy Morgan, of Cary, NC; David Morgan and wife Richela Morgan, of; Larchmont, NY; and grandchildren: Masana, Myles, Mack, and Quinn. He is also survived by his brother John and sister Mary.

Family will receive friends on Friday evening, March 20, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at Apex Funeral home (550 W. Williams Street). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 4 PM in the funeral home chapel.
