Hi Mom,
I guess you've been wondering where I've been for the past week. It's just today that I've accepted the fact that we won't be having lunch or talking on the phone for a while. Each time we talked I told you I love you. Now I know how much. I miss you so Mom.  You've always been my confident and adviser. You have always been there for my ups and downs both personally and professionally. I don't see how I would've gotten through so many of those times without your love, support and guidance. You never got rattled and always had a quiet dignity which gave me comfort. I would watch you as a child and you never said much but I knew you were always watching.  You loved your girls and we loved and love you. It was a rare day that you would say something mean about another. You taught us to be kind and always try to be understanding. You taught us to have faith in God and to be respectful of others. I remember all of us going to St. Francis' for Sunday Mass. The times we went alone we would sometimes end up at Chatham Pharmacy with Cokes and Hershey Bars.  There I said it!!  I think back and smile at those awful Catholic school uniforms with the itchy white blouses.  Now I see why we were there. It is my faith in God that is getting me through the loss of you.  
We will miss you.  But we will also celebrate the woman that you were to us.  We couldn't have asked for a more loving, kind mother.

Monica, when I visited just this past Easter you gave me a hug while I was saying my goodbyes and you told me that this might be the last time I see you, I guess you knew that your time was close and you were going to gods gates soon....I'm going to miss you and your kind words and advise that always  made me feel like I was part of the family. I'll always watch out for your daughters!

It's so hard for me to believe that you are no longer here. Even though I didn't see you as much as I wanted to, you were always a constant, loving presence in my life. From the time I was a baby, you watched over me, and played me classical music to soothe me to sleep. I will always look back on that summer we spent together a few years ago, where we laughed until we cried about the quill, and you having been there to sign the Declaration of Independence. 
I know you are now looking down on all of us, your family, with your sharp Irish eye, loving and encouraging us for the rest of our lives. I promise to continue to succeed for you, to become who you always wanted me to be: a smart, levelheaded, strong, loving, and successful woman. 
The pipes have called you home, to no more worry, no more pain, no more achy bones or trips to the hospital. Time has finally relinquished its hold on you, and you are now free to return to your days of youth, and bask in eternal vitality and light. I know you will watch over your family until the pipes call us, too, home to you.

I find it so hard to believe that you are not here physically but Auntie you will always be here for me in my heart and memories.  Thank you for loving me.  You were loved by many especially your daughters and granddaughter.  When my time comes to go home I hope you will have the kettle on so we can again enjoy our tea and cake.

I've only known you a short while but the times we had together I will always treasure and remember. You always kept me smiling and laughing with your wit and intellect and charm. Thank you for letting me get to know you in the short time that I've spent with you. Not only did you help me strengthen my faith with your kindness and positive outlook on life, but you also allowed me into your heart, which is so precious to me. I will miss you dearly and may you rest and enjoy your time with God in His home.

Gram my heart is broken. I couldn't have asked for a better gram, and I have the best memories with you growing up and as an adult. You were always good to me and defended me to the end. I wanted you to see your great grandson and hold him for the first time more than anything.  Lincoln will know how great his "GG" was and how excited she was to get "her boy!" We love you so much and miss you more than words can express. You were taken from us too soon. The pain is unbearable and the loss to our family is great.
