After a long and difficult battle with Parkinson's Disease, Mrs. Janet Applegate West, age 75, of Apex, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2019, at home and surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born September 19, 1943 in Swedesboro, NJ to June and Vincent Applegate. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wilber Earl West, Jr; her children and their spouses Steven and Mary West, Brian and Kristin West, Bonnie and Reed Mangino, and Kristy and Dustin Norman; her grandchildren Sarah West, Kaleigh West, Jason West, Alyssa West, Kara Norman and Madeline Norman; and her brother Robert Applegate.
A visitation was held for Janet on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.
A memorial service will be held on November 9, 2019 at 11:00 am with a reception following at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
