Jerrel was born on February 8, 1945 in Tacoma, WA to the late Macon and Mary Olive. Jerrel was an evangelist in the southeastern US and in Seoul, Korea. He served on the board of Teen Valley Ranch Christian Camp and Retreat Center. Jerrel enjoyed hunting with his black and tan hound dogs he raised. He was decorated with a black belt in martial arts. Jerrel was a successful sales entrepreneur owning The Olive Company and Bank Card Source in Raleigh, NC. He loved traveling with his wife in their motor coach, spending time at Pine Knoll Shores, creating family traditions and making friends everywhere he went.
