Joanne Margaret Randolph

her husband Stuart Randolph who recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 6. Joanne and Stuart have 5 children; Patty, Kathy, Diane and husband, Jasang, Mike and wife Kim, Jon and wife Lynn; 4 grandchildren; Aaron and wife, Nikki, Justin, Danielle, and Nathan and 2 great grandchildren; Ainsley and Ryker.

Joanne was born on January 3rd, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Blodgett Memorial Medical Center School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse. In 1970 Stuart and Joanne moved to Red Bird Methodist Mission, in Appalachia Kentucky where Joanne served the community as a nurse and Stuart taught at the local school. While in Kentucky they adopted their fifth child, Jon from Korea. The 7 Randolphs then moved to Cary NC in 1973. Joanne and Stuart were very active in the Make a Wish Foundation and Meals On Wheels in their retirement years. Joanne loved to read, knit, travel, and cook for her family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.
