Joline Chin Tung

Joline Tung was born on February 9, 2000, as the second child of her family. From a young age, Joline showed incredible talent and drive, which she carried with her throughout her life. Joline left us all too soon at the young age of 23 on February 11th, 2023.

1. Joline filmed the movie scene at a young age, showcasing her skills as an actress.

2. Joline shone as showcase at Universal Studios in California, captivating audiences with her performances.

3. Joline remained focused on her education and graduated high school at the impressive age of 15.

4. Joline's talents extend beyond acting, as she is also an accomplished dancer. Her impressive track record includes winning numerous awards for her solos and group performances in dance competitions across the nation.

5. Joline at the age of 17 became the first youngest author in the field of scientific research in Taiwan. Joline's outstanding work has earned her three awards for her research articles, which include:

"Grafting of Ring-Opened Cyclopropylamine Thin Films on Silicon (100) Hydride via UV Photoionization" - by J. Tung† and Y. L. Khung.

"Grafting Behavior for the Resonating Variants of Ethynylaniline on Hydrogenated Silicon (100) Surfaces under Thermal Hydrosilylation" - by Joline Tung, Lih Shin Tew, Carmine Coluccini, Yue-Der Lin, and Dr. Yit Lung Khung.

"Influences of Doping and Crystal Orientation on Surface Roughening upon Alcohol Grafting onto Silicon

Joline Tung was an accomplished and multi-talented individual who served as an inspiration to many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her during her too-short life.

We are heartbroken at the loss of our beloved. Please know that her family, friends, and community are grieving alongside us. We take solace in the memories of Joline and the many ways in which she touched our lives.

We would like to extend an invitation to celebrate Joline's life and mourn her passing at a funeral service to be held at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street on March 4, 2023. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by the service at 3:00 PM.

While we cannot bring Joline back, we can honor her memory and continue to cherish the time we had with her. We hope that you can join us in remembering Joline's beautiful spirit and the love she shared with us all.
