She is survived by her son: James (Robbie) Harris of Apex; daughter: Danielle Renee Harris of Apex; father: James Russell Lawrence; brother: Keith Lawrence and wife, Kim of Apex. Karen is also survived by her uncles, aunts, and cousins. Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Prince Lawrence.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
