Pete is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Fisher Watkins of Apex, NC; brother, Bobby L. Watkins and his wife Patricia of Fuquay Varina, NC; sisters, Betty McGuire and her husband Robert of Fuquay Varina, NC and Jean Watkins of Apex, NC; nephews, Bobby Watkins, Jr. of Florida and Dewayne Sessoms of Raleigh, NC; nieces Tammy Smith of Durham, NC and Lisa Wilmarth of Holly Springs, NC; sister-in-law, Patricia Scoggins of Rougemont, NC; and brother-in-law, Robert Fisher of Durham, NC.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC. The family will receive guests one hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and from the home at other times. Following services, entombment will take place in the Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC.
