P. Brian Young

P. Brian Young, 81, passed away suddenly in the presence of family on Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born February 15, 1934 in Toronto, Canada to Robert and Isabelle Young and became a proud US citizen in 2007. Brian worked in finance for the railroads in Canada and Detroit MI before he retired in Florida 1995. He moved from Venice, FL in 2014 to Raleigh, NC with his wife Virginia F. Young.

He was an avid golfer and spectator of professional baseball, hockey and golf.

Brian leaves behind his beloved wife of 7 years Virginia, his three children, Karen and husband Jim Samson, Laurie and husband Terry Cowon and a son David and his wife Alice Young all from Canada; three grandchildren Chris (Julie), Nicole (Caleb) and Trevor and two great grandchildren Brianna and Amelia and two brothers Bob and Bruce. He also leaves behind his step-daughters Margo and husband Cliff Bills of Apex, NC and Debby and her husband Joseph Rand of Cary NC, a step-granddaughter Janelle (Sam) Aguiar and step-great grandson Owen and step-grandson Andrew Bills.
