Sarah Diamondidis

Sarah Bettie Diamondidis of Cary, NC, age 90, passed away on March 21st, 2024. Sarah was born on September 4, 1933, in Bridgewater, VA, to the late Charles and Agnes Turk, the youngest of five sisters.

She was always extremely close to her sisters Anna Margaret, Bennett, Eleanor (“Duckie”) and Bernice who all preceded her in death. She met her future husband at his family’s restaurant in Clifton Forge, VA, where she attended Nursing School. Early in her career, she worked as an Operating Room Nurse and went on to hold various nursing roles until retiring in 1999.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Danny Diamondidis; children, Stefani and husband Don McEnteer, Chris and wife Kristin Diamondidis, and Alex and wife Yvette Diamondidis; along with her grandchildren, Kaeli and Kenna McEnteer, and Kaleb, Chris and Dan Diamondidis.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 28th, in Raleigh, NC, where she will be laid to rest at Raleigh Memorial Park.
