Susan Marie O'Neill

Susan grew up in Bloomington, MN and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974. She then attended LeTourneau College, where she met her husband Robert. She graduated in 1979 and they were married on January 5, 1980.

A mother of 3 children, Susan moved to Apex in the summer of 1998. Since 2000, she has worked at Apex High School as the lead secretary; her closest friends knew her as the “shoe goddess.” In the past two years, she had the opportunity to travel. She enjoyed the beach, particularly Topsail Island, and fulfilled her dream of going to Europe when she visited her son Ryan in Germany last fall.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, two sons, Ryan and Drew, daughter, Kelsey, sister, Ann, and parents Hal and Lorraine.

A gathering of friends and Family will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502.

A memorial service will also be held at the Apex Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 3:00 pm. A private Cremation Ceremony was previously held.
