Tatyana Nicole Taura

Tatyana was born on May 20, 2001 in Vladivostok, Russia. She was adopted by Joseph and Kathleen Taura in September, 2003 at the age of 16 months. Tatyana loved animals especially her faithful lab rescue dog, Calvin. She liked to ride horses and had a talent for art and poetry. She enjoyed dance and gymnastics as well as many outdoors activities. Space Mountain was her favorite Disney World ride and she liked to grow sunflowers.

She is preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Schoeberlein and her uncle, Al Schoeberlein.

She is survived by her parents, Joseph Taura and Kathleen Taura; her brother, Christofer; her grandparents, Richard and Carol Carberry and Denis and Vicky Taura; 5 aunts and uncles, and 8 cousins.

A reception will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home with time to visit family and friends. Celebration of life service to follow at 4:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home.

A rosary service will take place on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Apex, NC.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be donated to Peak Lab Rescue in Apex, North Carolina or any other local dog rescue organization.
