Irving was a great man that could often be found working outside and caring for his garden. He was employed for 29 years with the Taylor Biscuit Company where he eventually retired from his position as supervisor. Irving was also a long time member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Nelson, NC.
Irving is survived by his wife Ada Mae Bishop of Raleigh, NC; sisters Mozelle Brown of Raleigh, NC and Eunice Wells of Gastonia, NC; sister-in-law Rose Bishop; nieces Linda Weese, Diane Corbin, Sylvia Dawson, Joy Shioleno, Carol Rabon and Nikki Wells, and Sandra Spry; nephews Billy Bishop and Rex Bishop.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 from Apex Funeral Home.
