Angelita McNeeley

She was born August 2, 1937 in Los Angeles, Ca. She was raised by her mother Jennie and her stepfather Mike Ochoa.As a young girl Angie helped out in the hotel her parents worked.

Angie was a deeply religious person with high moral standards. At one time she was going to live and work in a Convent.

At the age of 18 she met her future husband -to -be ,Ralph Donald McNeeley on a city bus in Los Angeles which Max was driving.

He was ten years her senior. They got married in 1956, and went on to have four wonderful children. Angie and Max spent the beginning of their marriage living in Big Bear, Ca.

In the early 70’s they owned and operated an Arco Gas Station for nearly ten years. Angie was a hard working waitress at The Hilton Hotel and Green Tree Inn for over 30 years!

In The early 80’s Angie and Max built a home in San Felipe, Mexico. Which Angie designed. They would spend several months out of each year enjoying the beach in Mexico.

Angie and Max enjoyed many cruise vacations to the Caribbean and Mexico….thanks to their children.

Angie loved all animals. She took care of many throughout her lifetime. Gardening was a relaxing passion she enjoyed. Her yard was filled with colorful roses, and other flowers and trees.

Angie and Max were married happily for 53 years until Max’s death in 2009.

Angie later remarried Frances Seabrook. A close family friend for years. They kept each other company during the last 10 years of Angie's life. They enjoyed traveling to Australia, New Zealand,Tahiti and Alaska together. They both continued to visit the home on the beach in San Felipe, Mexico along with family and friends.

Angie was dedicated to her family. Always there to give support and love. She was open and kind to all people, seeing only the good in them. We will miss her so much!

Angelita is survived by her children: Ralph McNeely of Victorville, Jennie Sanders of Hawaii, Angie Ryan of Apple Valley, and Max McNeeley of Lucerne Valley.

8 grandchildren: Tiger Sanders 38, Tiffany Celani 38,

Coral Reinke 35, Jessica Martinez 34, Christian Sanders 30, Max Jr. McNeeley 29, Kelsey McNeeley 27, Seth McNeeley 22.

9 Great Grandchildren: Liam Reinke 10, Jacob Celani 9, Makayla Martinez 7, Scarlett Reinke 7, Dalani McNeeley 6, Jaxon Celani 5, Makenzie Martinez 5, Everly McNeeley 4,
