Betty Jean Arnold

Betty Jean Arnold, 91, passed away on March 19, 2017. Betty was born on May 8, 1925 in Riverside, CA to Marion and Anna Reavis. She was the third of four children. Betty stayed in Riverside for all of her childhood. She met husband, Howard, in church at age 18. They were married the following year at First Baptist Church in Riverside. Immediately after their wedding in 1944, Navy serviceman Howard was deployed while Betty remained in Riverside and began work at Montgomery Ward. When Howard returned, they began their family with son Steve, daughter Diana, and (much later) daughter Cindy. Betty leaves behind her daughter Cindy, daughter-in-law Carol, grandchildren Lori, Scott, Rose, Julie, Melinda, Adam, Brett, Ryan, and Katie. As well as great grandchildren, Jake, Kayla, Noah, and Tyler. Betty is preceded in death by husband Howard, children Steve and Diana, and son-in-law Donald. Betty, who knew no stranger, was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 30, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley. Viewing at 10:00am. Service at 11:00am with reception immediately following. In honor of Betty, bright colors are a must and polkadots are a plus.
