Frank Warlick, III left this earth in April 2024. He was just 62. Born a Sagittarius in December 1961, to Rodney and Jean, a baby boy with all his fingers and toes. Growing up, Frank was a jokester and loved to play outside! That skinny kid could shimmy up a tree, jump homemade ramps on his bicycle and make stink bombs in his sister’s perfume bottles.
Frank was a highly intelligent individual who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science at UB. He had a thirst for knowledge, exceptional memory for calculations, skilled at handcrafting, entertaining cats and blowing things up. He played baseball, high jumped and ran in track.
He graduated from Batavia Senior High in 1980 and was known for a memorable moment when something was allegedly lit in junior high and resulted in a big boom. There was that sense of humor again! A year after walking his sister down the aisle, he packed up and moved to California to be with his Cara Mia.
In 2017, Jim, his brother passed away. Three months later his mom did too. In 2023 his dad was laid to rest. Frank passed just nine months after his dad.
He is survived by his long-time girlfriend Cara, Nanou his 16-year-old kitty, his favorite sister Beth, Dustin his nephew and his two babies, cousins, stepfamily and many friends who affectionately referred to him as “the man”. Frankie, Frankis, Grog, fock head, twisted bro, just to name a few more. He had a knack for meeting and helping people, and kitties, which endeared him to many over the years. He was just a good guy and saying goodbye came too soon.
He will be interned at Sunset Hill in Apple Valley CA. In honor of his legacy, please share a story!
