Hattie Jean Johnson Chenault was born in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 1937, to Mozelle and Edgar Johnson. She married Irving Chenault Jr. April 9, 1952, and they were together until he was called home in 2008. They have two daughters, Melanie Ann and Sona.
She leaves to mourn daughter, Melanie and 3 grandchildren ,Shanda, Paige and Samuel. Seven great grandchildren, Sa Sheen, Skyy, Starr, Demond, Medard, Samiyah and Jaycee, two great great grandchildren, Kawai and Dlanod.
Mother: We all loved you so much and will miss you everyday, but you will live in our hearts forever.

THE CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
