My fondest memories of Jim are watching how tenderly and lovingly he treated his wife Carol. He so obviously treasured and adored her, Mike and I came away inspired to emulate more of this in our own relationship.

My favorite memory of Jim was when He and Carol were camping at Point Mugu. Stephanie & I met up with them on our way back from Morro Bay. We had the most relaxing weekend visiting with them, just the 4 of us. Jim made us feel like we were a part of their family that weekend. I will miss Jim terribly but know that he will be there with us at Point Mugu when we are there. Rest in peace my friend.

Jim - you were our first host at our very first rally and left a lasting impression on both Brian and I as well as our children. Your popcorn balls and welcome will be etched in their memories of camping forever. Brian was honored you chose to give him your SCCamper shirts you used to wear and wears them with pride. The kids want to know who will take your place at the Halloween Rally as the best Globetrotter there ever was! We were blessed to have known you and will miss you but are glad you are out of pain and at peace.

It was such a privilege to get to know Jim. He was always ready with a smile, a kind word, a helping hand. Spending time around the campfire laughing our heads silly will be precious memories forever. Until we meet again in heaven, here's to you, Jim!

Wow, there are so many great memories, around the campfire, homework with Kara (ya, he saved her life that day...LOL) always lending me a hand with my trailer. His smile, his laugh, his stories. I'm so blessed to have had him in my life. I miss him dearly, and I take comfort in knowing he's in heaven and he's no longer in pain. We will be sitting around the campfire together again someday.

My favorite memory of him was going to the beach every year with your family! We always had such a wonderful time every year! Every trip was filled with excitement and adventures! I loved being apart of that amazing tradition. I am so greatful and blessed to have known him. :) love you guys so much! My heart grieves for you all, but I also have peace knowing he is with our Lord.
