Jesus graduated from Barstow High School in 1978 and worked as a dockworker and truck driver for Consolidated Freightways and Yellow Freight for 30 years until his retirement. Jesus had a great sense of humor. He was a soccer coach, baseball coach and football coach in the early part of his family life. Jesus touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Gabriel Gandara and Michael Gandara, and his daughter Jessica Gandara. Two grandchildren, Elysia and Uriah Gandara. He is also survived by his brother, Lorenzo Gandara, sister Margie Gandara Stocking (Robert), sister and caretaker of many years, Elizabeth Gandara Martinez, (Ruben), and many extended family members, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jesus loved sports and always supported the Lakers and Rams California teams. However, his number one passion was for our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus read his bible daily and loved worshiping our Lord. He was an avid Christian. Jesus was a member of Calvary Christian Church of Hesperia and of Barstow until illness made it impossible to attend service.
May Jesus rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the love he shared.
