

Louis Jesús Arevalo, a devoted man of faith, passed away on December 17, 2024, at 76. Born on December 24, 1947, to Maria Estella and Luis Arevalo, Louis grew up in a large Catholic family and attended Saint Vincent's Elementary and Loyola High School.
He served in the US Army as a combat engineer in Vietnam from 1968-1971. After his service, Louis worked at Union Bank, where he met his wife Susanna, and later had a career spanning nearly 20 years at Southern California Edison. He also worked as a realtor, insurance agent, and bankruptcy specialist.
Louis was a talented musician, playing piano and guitar, and found solace in music and his faith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susanna; their eight children, Andrea, Jennifer, David, Ryan, Natalie, Anne Ellyse, Louie, and Ethan; 25 grandchildren; sisters Regina Guerrero and Mary Jane Lindley; brother Patrick; and many nieces, nephews, and their children. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Berlinda, Edward, and Armando.
Louis will be remembered for his deep faith, musical talent, and dedication to his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
A funeral service for Louis will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. A visitation will occur Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at External Service Location, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
