

Lynn Alida Davidson-Stroh, MD, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025. Born on December 13, 1951, Lynn dedicated her life to caring for others, both as a compassionate psychiatrist and a loving partner in business.
Lynn earned her medical degree and built a distinguished career in psychiatry, known for her thoughtful, kind, and insightful approach to her patients. Beyond her medical practice, she co-owned a small business with her husband, Michael Thompson, sharing in the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship.
She was a genuine, caring person who was highly regarded by family, friends, and colleagues alike. Those who knew her admired her ability to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer meaningful insight. Her kindness and empathy left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Lynn cherished a rich and varied life beyond her professional achievements. She was an avid collector of stamps and had a deep appreciation for Native American jewelry and baskets. A lover of classical music, she was also a proficient flute player, expressing her creativity and passion through music. Lynn had a special fondness for cats, which added warmth to her home and heart.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Thompson; her four siblings, Paula Davidson, Ellen Porter, Carol Gottliebsen, and Paul Davidson; and a loving circle of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Lynn’s legacy is one of compassion, intellect, and genuine kindness. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
