Michael John Lampignano

PROUDLY SERVED IN THE U.S. COAST GUARD

Michael Lampignano passed away peacefully on January 11th, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on September 8th, 1939. He was known for his love of family, boating, piloting planes and golf.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Stephanie and son John, as well as his seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, his sister Albina and brother John and their loving children.

Mike retired from Pacific Bell in 1986. After moving to the high desert, he served on the Hesperia Water District and City Council and was elected Mayor of Hesperia in 1994.

As time went by, Mike became president of the Equestrian Council of Hesperia, We Really Care, Hesperia BMX, and proud to be part of Elks Lodge 2646.

He loved boating and the boating family that came with the Cerritos Bahia Yacht Club where he worked his way up to Commodore and Chaplain.

Michael touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and fun loving ways.
